The Chapter Founders were the
members who set the tone and
character of Capitol and laid the
foundation of todays chapter. We have
enjoyed the variety of our membership
ranging from government workers,
teachers, farmers,military personnel,
corporate professionals, truck drivers,
police officers, firefighters, EMT
personnel, sales people parents and
grandparents,
Our children and grandchildren were
and are vital in the healthy growth of
Capitol.
Our offsprings play an important role in
our chapter stage productions such as
the Christmas Pageant and other
impromptu programs.
Food is also to our membership
especially when all the members at
rallies eat together. All well prepared
meals are really enjoyed with pig roast
and catered fare heading the list.
Happy Hour is our means to draw our
rally attendees together for fellowship,
fun and friendship.

Chapter Background
From its humble beginning Capitol
quickly became an influential member
of FMCA with members serving on
important committees, often as the
chair.
Members have also served as Area
Vice Presidents, National Directors and
one notable member was elected
President of FMCA.
In 1991 Capitol was chosen to produce
the Eastern Area Rally at Myrtle
Beach, South Carolina.
The rally was a total success and the
Chapter's coffers was increased
handsomely.
Members have gone on to become
officers in the Eastern Area
Motorhome Association and key
participants in the production of the
Great Eastern Area Rally.
Capitol continues as a vital FMCA
chapter member by being a friendly,
fun loving bunch of motorhomers,
